Ecko Nesta
Born to one of Ghana's iconic musicians from the 1960s known as F. Micah, Ecko Nesta is a native-Ghanaian performing artist, songwriter, composer, instrumentalist, singer, and humanitarian now based in the US.
Ecko Nesta started playing the guitar at the age ten having been inspired by his musical family. He has been doing music all his life. He has had big success in his home country previously releasing music under the name Ekow Micah. Since 1994 he has released several albums in Ghana, most notably Mesiwo Hemaa, Odo Kasa, 95 Cedis and Nansen Woyefe.
He is now re-launching his career with a distinct and candid voice. Released in January 2021 the first single from his new album is the inspiring Political Malaria. The song and forthcoming album were produced by one of Jamaica's top reggae producers, Mr. Sidney Mills from the legendary and Grammy Award winning band Steel Pulse and were mixed & mastered at Tuff Gong studio, in Kingston Jamaica and distributed by VPAL.
